This Privacy Policy explains how A&H for Import and Export collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the A&H for Dental mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android, and our online store at ah-eg.net.

1. Who we are

A&H for Import and Export is a supplier of dental and aesthetic equipment and materials, established in Damietta, Egypt in 2007.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to take and fulfil your orders:

• Account and contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
• Order and delivery details — shipping and billing address, the products you order, and your order history.
• Communications — messages you send us through the App, email, or phone.
• Basic technical data — device type, operating system version, and app version, used to keep the App working correctly.

What we do not collect

The App is a catalogue and ordering tool for dental professionals and businesses. It is not a medical or health application. We do not collect, store, or process any patient records, medical records, health measurements, diagnoses, or any other health information about you or any third party. The App does not access your device’s health data, fitness data, camera, microphone, or contacts.

3. Payment information

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which processes card details directly under its own security standards. We receive only confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a reference for the transaction.

4. How we use your information

• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
• To contact you about an order, a delivery, or a product enquiry.
• To provide customer support and handle returns or warranty claims.
• To keep records required by Egyptian commercial and tax law.
• To maintain the security and correct operation of the App and our store.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Who we share information with

We share your information only with parties that help us run the store, and only to the extent they need it:

• Ecwid / Lightspeed Commerce — the ecommerce platform that operates our online store and processes orders on our behalf.
• Our payment provider — to take payment for your order.
• Shipping and delivery companies — to deliver your order to the address you provide.
• Government authorities — where we are required to do so by Egyptian law.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our online store uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember the contents of your shopping cart, and understand how the store is used so we can improve it. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the store may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we are required to retain commercial and tax records under Egyptian law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or render it anonymous.

8. How we protect your information

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on the secured infrastructure of our ecommerce platform provider. Access to customer data within A&H is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders and provide support. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your account and the personal information associated with it, subject to records we must keep by law.
• Stop sending you marketing messages.

Deleting your account

To request deletion of your A&H for Dental account and associated personal data, email info@ah-eg.net from the email address registered to the account, with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We will confirm deletion within 30 days. Order records that we are legally required to retain will be kept for the period required by Egyptian law and will not be used for any other purpose.

10. Children

The App is intended for dental professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

Our ecommerce platform provider may store and process data on servers located outside Egypt. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s contractual and technical safeguards to protect your information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email.
